COSMIC PEAR

A night in the desert, searching for constellations in a sky too full to read

A fresh pear in the cold desert air, the discreet bite of ginger. The silent shimmer of a sea of stars overhead. A night spent trying to make out the constellations hidden within the obvious. Orion, perhaps. Or something else that escapes us, holds us. Underneath it all, ambroxan stretches vast and cold. A musky, crowded sky, into which the eyes fall, and never quite reach the bottom.
