MOON BERRY

THE MOMENT

A strawberry, ripe, dense, almost candied. Dry cinnamon, a dark coffee, the warmth of a dinner not quite forgotten. The shadow of a moon whose glow is rare. Hidden in the gloom of a crowded sky, she sometimes lets her beauty shine through the darkness. We catch a brief glimpse, then nothing. A violet flower slowly blossoms, like that ephemeral glow we no longer seek.
